Preview: Ghouls ‘n Ghosts coming to the iPhone

If there is one developer who has really made a huge splash in the iPhone games market it has to be Capcom. We’ve already seen that Capcom is willing to bring its new games to Apple’s iPhone platform with the release of Resident Evil 4, but it now looks like classic titles are going to get the same treatment, and they couldn’t have picked a huger classic! (My mind is attempting to add up all the quarters beating this game cost me!)

Images of this game appeared on the Japanese website with limited visuals, and similar to those seen on the PSP game Ultimate Ghosts ‘n Goblins. We have no arrival/release date yet to announce, nor a cost of the game to share with you at this time as Capcom did not reveal any details. However, seeing how they are showing users testing the game out on hardware, hopefully it won’t be too long. Bottom-line: I anticipate early December. In the game industry everyone shoots for the 4th quarter when you’ve got a golden release on your hands. No doubt this won’t be the free variety, but Capcom could always surprise us! Nahhhhh! Expect it available in the app store before Christmas.
